All Apple products come with a standard charging/syncing cable. I can't tell you how many times I have had to maneuver my devices just because the cord is so short. This cord is better than the factory one provided with every device. Not only is it thicker, it's longer and extremely durable. I love the fact I can have the luxury of not being restricted to a wall socket or USB port while I am both charging and using my phone. The most beneficial part of this cord is being able to have my phone by my side and charging while I sleep. This was impossible before because my available outlet was too far away. My phone and other devices simply had to charge across the room. Making it difficulty in the morning since I use my phone as an alarm and like to hit the snooze a few times. Thanks to the AYL cord I can charge my phone next to me while I sleep! The durability of the cord is by far greater than the previous cords I have used. Trust me I have gone through my fair share. I highly recommend this cord if you are in need for a long durable cord that is Apple Certified. For those of you who don't know what that means, the product is the real deal or Authentic.
