When camping, fishing or anything outdoors than results in night fall, illumination is a must. You need to be able to see where your going, what your doing and to keep a look out to be safe. You can use a standard flashlight but it will not get the job done. Larger lights that are brighter and more efficient in illuminating your surroundings are your best bet. Plus they are hands free! Outside isn't the only place we may need illumination, anywhere darkness can be found. In a power outage they can be most useful and very needed. Even if it isn't an emergency like a reading light without turning on the house lights it is most helpful.

Both my husband and I get major use out this handy AYL lantern. He can use it fishing, tinkering in the garage and I can use it to read, find things in the dark but most of all... for emergencies. With the AYL Lantern we can illuminate an entire room with just the one light. Honestly we get so much use for this lantern our only issue is who gets to use it.
